Koa Kölsch

Originating from Cologne, Germany, Kölsch is one of the lightest ales. Froth Craft Brewery’s Koa Kölsch adheres to its European heritage using German Cologne malt as the primary grain base and the German hop Tettnang delivering the citrus taste and aroma. It’s fermented with White Labs’ Kölsch yeast to ensure the fruity esters that are infamous with this style of ale. This brew is a perfect introduction into the artisan beer world. Light, clean and crisp, Koa Kölsch drinks like a lager to quench that thirst after an epic day on the Ningaloo. One of Froth’s most popular beers.

Malt: Cologne, Wheat, Carapils, Acidulated

Hops: East Kent Golding, Tettnang

Yeast: White Labs – 029

ABV: 4.7%

IBU: 16

Taste: Light – Mid bodied beer, refreshing ale with fruity esters and citrus hop aroma / flavour

Philsner Pilsner

Froth’s first lager, the Philsner, is brewed to keep the masses of lager drinkers happy for an easy drinking, familiar styled beer. Lagers use a different strain of yeast that ferments at a lower temperature (and results in a longer fermentation time than ales - “lagern” in German means “to store”) to produce clean, clear, crisp beers. The Philsner is brewed with Cologne and Pilsner malts from Germany and flavoured with Perle, Saaz and Hallertau hops. The Philsner is housed in our bright tanks for 4 – 6 weeks to allow for the beer to settle and clarify for a clean, crisp, easy drinking sessionable beer. One of Froth’s most popular beers.

Malt: Cologne, Pilsner, Wheat, Carapils, Acidulated

Hops: Perle, Saaz & Hallertau

Yeast: Saflager-189

ABV: 4.5%

IBU: 28

Taste: Light bodied, well carbonated easy drinking lager. Slight sweetness balanced with the citrus notes from the Hallertau and Earthy aroma from the Saaz hop. THE crowd pleaser.

Two Palms Tropical Golden Ale

Named after the two palm trees that stand alongside Froth’s brewery, this tropical golden ale is a refreshing, smashable mid strength ale made for the warmer Exmouth weather. Brewed with Maris Otter malt from England and then heavily dry hopped (when the beer is in the fermenter) with El Dorado and Calypso hops - this ale is a light, crisp ale. With pineapple and melon overtones finished with a light bitterness: this is a perfect thirst quenching sessionable beer.

Malt: Maris Otter, Wheat, Acidulated

Hops: El Dorado, Calypso

Yeast: US-05

ABV: 3.5%

IBU: 32

Taste: With slight haze from dry hopping plus the fruity aroma and flavour from American hops El Dorado and Calypso. Brewed to be a light bodied, mid strength ale that is refreshing and sessionable. A crowd pleaser.

Strewth Summer Ale

With the hot summer weather we must endure living on the North West cape, Froth’s Strewth Summer Ale is a tropical ale that quenches the thirst after an epic day on the Ningaloo Reef. Strewth Summer Ale is a light bodied, refreshing ale that uses only Bintani Fortnight Hops, which is a unique blend of 5 different American Hops. With a slight bitterness to quench your thirst, Strewth’s hopped additions are primarily in the whirlpool and dry hopping to allow the aromatic attributes of pineapple, pear and citrus stand-alone.

Petey’s Wheaty Weissbier

After years of Pete begging the head brewer to brew a wheat beer, the time has finally come for its inaugural release. Quite possibly the world’s first frack free, fregan, salty dreaded, oily bearded, free range, Kermit-the-frog-living-in-a-bus-at-the-Lighthouse-with-a-view German wheat beer. If you know Pete, you’ll jump on a humpback whale pushcart and come down to Froth and try our new refreshing Hefeweizen. NOTE: the yeast provides more flavour than the wheat.

Malt: Wheat, Pilsner, Carapils, Acidulated

Hops: Perle, Hallertau

Yeast: Munich Classic

IBU: 14

Taste: This ‘Weissbier’ is brewed to be light and refreshing to be enjoyed on hot summer days. With a slight banana aroma from the German Munich yeast esters and citrus flavour from the hallertau hops, this wheat ale is a very approachable, thirst quenching, lip smacking, give-me-another-one-please-barkeep beer.

Out of Saison

Saisons originate from the French speaking area of Wallonia, Belgium, where the beer style was traditionally brewed in the cooler season in their farmhouses. Saisonniers were the seasonal farm workers that boasted the perk of enjoying the variety of different Saison beer styles whilst working throughout the summer. Often brewed with open fermentation, wild yeast was cultivated and fermented at higher temperatures which allowed the yeast’s spicy, fruity flavour and aroma to be the centrepiece of this beer style.

Froth Craft Brewery's “Out of Saison” replicates the time honoured traditional Saison recipe using primarily Pilsner Malt with a strong backbone of Wheat Malt. This highly attenuating yeast strain thrives in higher fermentation temperatures. Great option for non-beer drinkers, or wine/sparkling fans.

Malt: Pilsner, Vienna, Wheat, Acidulated

Hops: Perle, Styrian Golding

Yeast: Labelle Saison

ABV: 6.4%

IBU: 22

Taste: esters provide strong flavours such as spice, fruit and sourness. Naturally a highly carbonated beer style, “Out of Saison” has champagne-like aspects leaving your mouth dry and refreshed. Styrian Golding and Perle hop varieties are added simply for slight bittering and floral elements, allowing the yeast’s flavor profile to be at the forefront.

Little Phete Amber Ale

Malt, Malt and more Malt!! This Amber Ale celebrates the grain. To reach our goal of brewing a mid strength beer packed with flavour and body, we used a variety of specialty grains that together, could bring to life the magnificence of malt. Little Phete Amber Ale’s malt base highlights the biscuit, nut and toast tastes, brewed to shimmer pindan red like the Pilbara’s sun scorched earth. Centennial and Williamette hops were used to balance out the sweetness of the malt ensuring a refreshing, full-bodied mid strength craft beer.

I.R.A - Irish Red Ale

The I.R.A Irish Red Ale is brewed annually here at Froth to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Adhering to the style, IRA is a malt forward ale where the biscuit, caramel, toast flavours are brewed to be prominent. Balanced with the malt sweetness is a solid hop bitterness. Traditionally, Irish Red Ales are brewed with a touch of Roast Barley that provides a “red” coloration that this style is named after. Allowing the beer to warm slightly will allow the malt flavour and body to come through - perfect for Mid March Exmouth weather. As the beer loses carbonation, the malt aroma will also become more apparent.
