‘Paint The Town’ Raspberry Berliner Weisse

This sour wheat ale originates from Germany where the beer is aged in barrels inoculated with lactobacillus that would sour the beer over months of ageing. Froth’s version of the Berliner Weisse is fermented with Philly Sour Yeast which produces lactic acid in its primary stage of fermentation, which drops the pH of the beer to give it a prominent acidic or sour taste. We wanted to give this an even more refreshing aspect so we added 250kg of raspberry puree to a 25hL brew to create a fruit forward sour that is incredibly refreshing and looks simply divine. With a low A.BV, ‘Paint the Town’ is a thirst quenching fruited sour that not only tastes fabulous but stands out from the crowd with its vibrant color.

“My Milkshake Brings All The Boys to Yardie Creek” Mango Lassi Milkshake I.P.A

Bored in our downtime during Covid-19, our brewer was inspired by the plethora of creative beers pouring out of the State’s craft breweries. Here is our North-west Aussie version of the Milkshake I.P.A. Yardie Creek is located at the southern end of nearby Cape Range National Park, along the World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef and features the spectacular Yardie Creek Gorge. And we’re not sexist, this Milkshake I.P.A will bring all the boys, girls and everyone in between to Yardie Creek.

SAISONS

"Out of" Saison
Saisons originate from the French speaking area of Wallonia, Belgium, where the beer style was traditionally brewed in the cooler season in their farmhouses. Saisonniers were the seasonal farm workers that boasted the perk of enjoying the variety of different Saison beer styles whilst working throughout the summer. Often brewed with open fermentation, wild yeast was cultivated and fermented at higher temperatures which allowed the yeast’s spicy, fruity flavour and aroma to be the centrepiece of this beer style.
Froth Craft Brewery’s “Out of Saison” replicates the time honoured traditional Saison recipe using primarily Pilsner Malt with a strong backbone of Wheat Malt. This highly attenuating yeast strain thrives in higher fermentation temperatures.
Great option for non-beer drinkers, or wine/sparkling fans.
Malt: Pilsner, Vienna, Wheat, Acidulated

Taste: esters provide strong flavours such as spice, fruit and sourness. Naturally a highly carbonated beer style, “Out of Saison” has champagne-like aspects leaving your mouth dry and refreshed. Styrian Golding and Perle hop varieties are added simply for slight bittering and floral elements, allowing the yeast’s flavour profile to be at the forefront.
"One Punch" Cherry Saison

From the depths of our brewers’ dog-eared homebrew recipe book, we have brought back this punchy and lip smacking twist on a traditional farmhouse styled Belgian ale; a fruity addition of 40kg of sour cherries during the primary ferment, in a 500L batch, provides a refreshing take on the summer suited style of Saison. With a sour straw-like aroma from the Belle Saison yeast, light hop schedule that provides a slight, grassy bitterness and the ferment addition of blended sour cherries to pucker the lips, this is a super thirst quenching beer that hits the spot and has you coming back for more…. and more…

STOUTS

"Gimme MO" Stout

Froth’s winter seasonal, Gimme MO’ Stout, is a full-bodied Mocha Oatmeal Stout. Brewed with Organic Cacao powder and espresso added late to the boil, this gem is a warm familiar embrace on a cold winter’s evening.

The initial coffee aroma is the start of a flavour train of biscuit, roast hazelnut and dark chocolate. Made with Pilsner Malt in addition to specialty malts such as: Carafa I, crystal, chocolate and a whole lot of rolled oats. With Columbus and Cascade hops to balance out the malt, and topped off with a creamy silk oatmeal head, Gimme MO’ Stout is a flavour packed winter seasonal not to be missed.

“HMAS Mateship” Anzac Biscuit Stout

Although not the world’s first Anzac Biscuit Stout, Froth’s brewers wanted to create a winter ale that would celebrate the Australian spirit of mateship during the absolutely bizarre, and challenging, odd times in 2020. Times so odd they would have made sense in an episode of Black Mirror.

But seriously, what better addition to a stout than an Anzac biscuit?!

Over 100 large Anzac biscuits were baked at Froth and added during the initial mash with some addition of toasted coconut, golden syrup and toasted rolled oats.

The final product entails a medium bodied stout that exudes biscuit and bread on the nose, while a crisp bitterness initially smooths out into a flavourful malty roasted palate that fills every corner of your gob and finishes with hints of toasted coconut.

Please enjoy in the true Aussie spirit: with your mates.
